About me: My name is Mona I have been making jewellery useing swarovski since 1998. It started as a hobby while I lived in Taiwan and now its part of who I am. I am also a Fianacial advisor and swarovski keeps me sane . I have always made peices for freinds and mom is my promotor also I have run workshops for friends and their friends who like bling bling. 2004 I asked my self a question To bead or not to bead? Am I a jewellery designer/teacher or a Fianacial Planner and well I am both.
I have never had to advertise my self and always sourced my crystals from all over the world and last year I made up my mind to have a swarovski account cause the number of kits I gave out to students have increased and its a no surprise that most my students are infact bankers who love to float in the crystal world of swarovski.
I love vintage custome jewellery infact I am crazy about it. My favrouite is Mariam Haskell and her designs are inspirational and a lot of my designs are influanced by her designs.
I am here to see others out there who share my passion for swarovski and for all the members I say "Warmest greetings from Australia.
Experience and Creativity: I have worked on many diffrent areas useing diffrent mediums to creat jewellery.
I have done beading and bead weaving infact I started with those.
Wiring has become a passion of mine but discret wiring methods rather than showing the wire.
I use polymer clay to make pandents and I mix it with wire.
I use mixed media as well.
I have used and tought Silver Clay as a medium.
I am active in school charities useing swarovski hearts to collect money for my kids school for xmas and mother's day.
Hobbies and Interests: Drawing,interior designing,writting,reading jewellery making,travelling the world,collecting antiques,collecting vintage custom jewellery,Human rights,social activities,charities,socialising
Fields of Creativity: Any thing with the hands lol. I have been creative since I was a kid and it runs in the family from both sides so I guess I am lucky
