I am one of six children and was raised in upstate New York by my parents who were both artists. Out of necessity I started sewing my own clothes which paved the way for my love of wearable design and art. After active duty in the U.S. Marine Corp and several years in the Interior Design Business, I decided it was time to get back to my love of wearable art. My jewelry makes a statement. My pieces are heirloom quality and the color combinations using brass/filigree and Austrian crystals are truly distinctive to K. Marie Designz.
