A writer and designer during the day...mom and short-order cook the rest of the time.
I am the founding editor of Beadwork magazine and currently write the Wednesday blogs for BeadingDaily.com. My "day job" is primarily writing and editing jewelry-making books--I have 50+ notches on my library shelf to prove it. I also teach beading workshops across the country and give lectures on creativity and jewelry design. It's a nice life!

Wow, I am so happy you have joined us. I just cannot decide which of your designs are my favorite...I thought it was Fiori, but then I saw Tibetian Message...too difficult to decide. They are so different and yet each of them has a cleanliness (right word?) of design -- not one bead too many, not one too few.
I hope you will enjoy being a part of our sparlkling community. We are delighted and honored to have you join us.
Sparkles and smiles, diane

Hi Andreas-
It was great to meet you in Tucson! Hope you found time to get out and see the city a little bit and that the trip home went smoothly.
Finally broke down and created a Facebook profile--just became a CYS fan!

Jean
P.S. Have you purchased your brass goggles and ray gun yet?
