I have been beading for only two years because my youngest son gave me a beading kit for Christmas. (He seems to see my practical side) I try to do as much beading as I can so I can learn all the different techniques. I own a motel in a country area of Australia and that keeps me very busy so beading has to take second place unfortunately.
I am very interested to learn more, I read many beading books and subscribe to some magazines, I would love to visit Fire Mountain Gems in the USA.
- Experience and Creativity
I am more or less a newcommer to the art of beading, I love to do it. I find sometimes when I am going to sleep, many beautiful designs enter my mind but I don't know how to put them together if I attempt them the next day. We don't have beading classes in our town as it only has a population of around 10,000.
I do travel to Canberra (around 250klms away), which is the only nearest place to do classes, but I do not have the time as I am usually there on business
- Hobbies and Interests
My hobbies are reading, beading, painting, sewing, flying areoplanes, cake decorating. I was a midwife, but gave that up when I purchased the motel. I have written a book but I don't have the time to get it published.
- Fields of Creativity
I do not know anyone who does beading in this community.
- Favorite Movies and Books
I have read all Robyn Cooks books and I read many more, authors too many to mention. I like action movies and science fiction.
