About me

My name is Marjorie, I live in The Netherlands and have been making jewelry since 2004. Before that I've always been busy creatively with drawing and painting, clothes, stones and beads but I never thought about creating jewelry. I've been to a fashion school here in Holland. At first I wanted to design costumes for films, but I ended up as a secretary instead through a twist of fate. That same twist of fate got me stuck at home due to a chronic  condition (EDS), I couldn't do anything (work, sports, painting/drawing) and I bounced with my head against the walls. I decided to get creative with beads and got hooked ever since! I think that has been the purpose of me getting stuck at home: getting creative. I make my jewelry foremost with gemstones, pearls and (.925/.999) silver. I use Swarovski crystals mostly as additions, to give the jewelry just thát bit of sparkle, but I am brooding on Swarovski jewelry that sparkles your eyes out!
