About me

The word for bead and symbol for luck in ancient Egyptian are both sha. Put them together the result is Lucky Bead! And to me that means life enhancing art. I love combining beads in ways that bring meaning to the jewelry I create. Beads are a fascinating medium to explore! There are so many kinds, each with their own rich, diverse history. When a piece of jewelry comes together in beauty, theme, and wearabilty, well, that's what I call a life enhancer. My life is richer for the creative expression the craft allows me, and the owner has a unique piece of wearable art! Tha's what Sha-sha is all about. I look forward to us all sharing in our adventure with Swarovski crystals!

Hobbies and Interests

Other hobbies besides beading are gardening - I love all kinds of flowers - I can't pick a favorite! ...and there is nothing quite like raising your own vegtables and herbs. As you can see by one of my photos, I also love to fish! We are blessed to live near the coast, so we can almost fish year round. Our family takes a vacation in Florida every year to go fishing there too!
