Modern Metals Cuff Bracelets

Description: When I was asked to create a design using the NEW Xillion Bicone beads I immediately thought of my straight sided right angel weave cuffs. I've been making these cuffs for some time now, but wasn't very happy with the way they felt when worn. The Xillion bead is created with more facets and a softer "girdle" (the widest part of the bead) that gives it better wearing comfort. Well, I can now confidently say this is true! The new beads are much less scratchy on bare skin...so there is no limit to how many of these I'll make, or maybe even wear at once!
I made up 3 bracelets to compare the wearing comfort and sparkle of new Xillion beads to comprable sizes of 5301's. They are not only softer on the skin...they sparkle much more, and as an absolute devotee of Right Angle Weave, I really appreciate the smoother holes. Because the thread goes through each bead so many times, it tends to shred a bit on teh 5301's, but I didn't experience this at all with the new beads.
So, I am thrilled with this new Swarovski innovation!
