This was a choker I designed to match a burn-out velvet jacket I had chosen to wear the the awards ceremony in Tucson in 2007 (one of the pictures next to my profile shows me wearing it.) Although it was made in the rush of getting ready for the trip, it's a favorite of mine, and still gets lots of second and third looks when I show others my work (the flash of the Satin coating doesn't hurt!) The flowers themselves were woven with 34 gauge wire and then strung like beads into the choker.
