I find it fun to make jewelery that functions in multiple ways and incorporates multiple techniques. I combine right-angle-weave with wire to create pieces with dimension and strength. This is one of the first pieces I made and used 4mm bicones for the wings and various sizes of rounds for the body. I don't know what to call it (not brooch, not clip) because it is convertible. I've sewn a small pocket on the back to accommodate multiple styles of hair clips or a pony tail holder, or a combined brooch pin/bail. The dragonfly's wings are about 3" wide and the body is around 2-1/4"
