- Description
I was one of the first to sign up and I entered this contest right away since it I had just created the bar set and was excited about my first design on the website. I have not previously given enough information since I was so excited to be a part of all of this, I just wanted to so quickly get involved that I did not give you all that you needed. I now understand what you want, what you need from me because I also need it from you. So, I am going to give you what I've got.. the inspiration...the attitude... the way and the means. I love this creation. I created a bar set for a donation to a Wine Tasting and Silent Auction Benefit for an emergency shelter for children. I thought what better item to donate than a bar set for wine. I wanted to do something sparkly and fun, something I was sure would please. These pictures don't do it justice (I'm still working on the photography of my creations), I had such a wonderful response at the Wine Tasting from everyone when they found out that I was the one behind the creation. I didn't want to just put crystal beads on the wine rings, I wanted them to be a conversation piece. That is when I found the toe rings made with Swarovski crystals. Thank goodness the "toe part" was able to be taken off and I was off to the races to put it all together.

Step by step

Step 1
Can you believe it, wine charms made from toe rings. I wanted unusal charms for wine rings. I found the perfect thing when I found toe rings made with Swarovski crystals. I removed the "toe ring" from the charms and added them to wine rings instead lined on each side with glass crystal beads (monetary constraints).

Step 2
For the wine stopper I used non tarnishing silver colored wire along with of course a crystal flower toe ring charm surrounded by the white glass crystal beads. All of this was wrapped around the neck out of the way of part of the stopper where you would hold to insert or take out of the bottle. Tell people it has a toe ring and watch their reactions.

Step 3
I used three different color tiger wire (colors of all items listed below) along with matching crimp beads. Of course the crimp beads were used on varying colors of the tiger wire. The wires were cut at different lengths varying the spacing of the different colored 3mm crystals along each wire. As I tied the wire on I of course had to add a toe ring crystal flower in the middle thus tying all pieces together theme wise.
