- Description
This is a wedding dress that I did recently and I am really pleased with the way it turned out, the pictures really do not do it justice it sparkled like crazy. It took approx 70hours to complete and I used approx 9000 stones that were all applied one at a time by hand. I also stoned the net skirting on the dress and the head dress, jewellery and shoes were all designed and made or stoned by myself.

Step by step

Step 1
The bodice was firstly edged using ss16 flatback non hotfix ab crystals and then I sewed 100 ab cosmic stones into the 5 sections at different angles so as to make maximum benifit of the light that would bounce off them. Then I started to fill in the different sections using the smaller stones, I chose to use many differing sizes of stone as I find that this exaggerates the glare that you get fron the stones as the light bounces off the different sizes and in turn off each other. please see picture 3 of the item half way through!!!
