Stepping Stones Bracelet

An old Zulu technique updated with crystals and a pattern. This was one of my classes in Tucson 2011. The third image shown is the original piece found in the Russell-Coates Museum in Bournemouth, England. These tabular pieces were often made by young women to give to their boyfriends. A real popular guy might wear several if he wanted to show off, but likely the girls would not be too happy! The clasp is made by Claspgarten, a German clasp designer.
