Crystal stone set ring

Fine silver double band ring set with a round 1028 rose crystal cabochon. The idea for the ring came about from a desire to combine my work with silver metal clays with Swarovsksi Crystal Elements. Crystals cannot be fired in the kiln with the ring so I needed to come up with a way to prepare an unique setting to accept the cabochon after the firing of the ring band. And PINK LADY was the result of this experimentation. Since this first experience, I'm now using Swarovski Crystal Elements in my designs of brooches, pendants, rings, hair accessories and beads. I've been using the crystal with silver, copper and bronze metal clays.
