8th Place 2010 Creative Beading Swarovski Competition

AUSTRALIANA - a traditional Australian felt Akubra Hat which I hand painted with the Australian Wildflowers and then crystallized with flatbacks.

For our International friends the flowers depicted are the Waratah (big red one at the front), some Golden Wattle (yellow fluffy balls), the Flannel Flower (white flowers),Sturt's Desert Pea (the red & black elongated flower) & some Royal Bluebells (bluish/purple flowers).
