What could make a peacock blush?

This design began trying to make a retro looking fascinator, channeling the early 1900's and a little bit of cabaret. When I found these beautiful red peacock feathers in a local craft store I knew I wanted to use them, and not the ostrich feathers I originally intended!  After a long while of playing around and trying different arrangements, this is the end result. It's bigger than intended, but better than planned also!
