Basic crystal tree I designed for my wedding. My wedding colors were Champagne and apple red. I purchased the tree frame from a craft store and it came with horrible looking cheap acrylic beads and there was no color variation.  I bought a ton of crystal golden shawdow and light siam beads and pendants. For thickness in the middle I wrapped ropes of 14 mm straus two hole octogons. It took me about a month and a half to make this.
