Bracelet CHENILLE

The name ≤CHENILLE≥ in French translates into caterpillar in English and was the root of my inspiration. The techniques used in creating the bracelet are weaving and basic wire work.

1. I first wove 2mm gold filled beads around two ends of each art. 4439 fancy bead and which would serve as the base of the bracelet. During the weaving I've woven jump rings into strategic places. Certain serve to connect the chain links that join the fancy beads together and the others serve to attach the ≤bling≥ that decorates the top of the bracelet.

2. I then joined the the fancy beads together using approximately 2cm pieces of chain link connected to the previously placed jump rings.

3. I then added the ≤bling≥ to the top of the bracelet by using the jump rings that were added during the initial weaving process. The colors I used were alexandrite, purple velvet, chrysolite, carribean blue opal, crystal copper, jonquil and of course bermuda blue. Turquoise and agate beads were also added in as well as 4mm gold filled beads

4. And lastly, I added the gold filled magnetic clasp, extension chain and a security chain, as well as some handmade charms.
