proper adhesive for gluing flatbacks to finished leather

Hi,  I am new to this community and so far have found everyone to be most helpful.  How nice to have a "home" to go to!   I have been testing many glues to find THE ONE for flatbacks to leather contact.  It has been challenging to say the least!  I was wondering if anyone here can enlighten me with their knowledge on this matter, and would be most thank-ful to find an answer.  I know of SWAROVSKI'S new 2 part epoxy called CG500-35 and can find it no-where.  Not even sure if it will be for leather applications.  Can you help me ?

  Thanks so much,  jules

Just saw your question

I've used E6000 to glue flatbacks on suede, have not tried leather.

This page says it works on leather.

http://www.artbeads.com/e6000.html

On page 64 in this guide, it says CG 500-35 is distributed

exclusively via Swarovski.  It does not mention leather on

page 66.

I wonder if this will work on leather.

Admin, question on posting pictures....

Hello, dear Admin, hope you are doing well.

I tried to post a few pictures on my profile, and for some reason they are not showing up.  Odd thing, the pictures DO appear on the "Edit" page of my profile, but on the viewing page they show as boxes with red X in them.

I have checked sizes, which are OK, the pictures are JPEGs, and I was able to post another picture OK.  Any suggestions or help?

Thanks so much,   Diane

The reason might be the "&"

The reason might be the "&" in the file-name! I will check this, but maybe you could try to remove the character from the filename?

glue

I have the two part CG 500-35 (A) glue to affix the flat backs (non hot fix) to metal. When I mix the product it starts to get tacky and stringie from the start. What do you suggest?
