Ahh....home again!
Wow, what a wonderful whirlwind in Pasadena!
Had some great classes...Wrap it Up was a BIG hit, and Lovely Links had a really good return engagement. My Stretch It, Bling It, Ring It make and take was very, very popular again.
So many things went awry, though, but actually worked out for the best. I came down with a cold on Friday morning....NOT what I wanted to have happen.... Filled myself with Benadryl (and coffee to counter the sleeping effect of the cold pill) put a bottle of hand sanitizer and a box of kleenex on the table, and soldiered on....Thank you, thank you, thank you to all my students for their understanding and humor while my nose was dripping! We had so much fun (or at least I did...but who knows if that was the combo of cold pills and caffeine!)
My Saturday classes didn't get any advance sign ups, so I was able to cancel them, walk the show a bit, and then go back to the hotel for some much needed rest.
Sunday I had breakfast with my darling friend, Lynn Berry, then taught the ring make & take...and had a really good Magical Moonlight class. Drive home was a bit scary, as it started to rain really hard, there was a big accident that held traffic up for a long stretch..and of course, I was trying to maintain my focus. All ended well, with me safe at home...and a good night's sleep (so needed!)
So now, I'm back and need to get busy getting ready for Tucson! OMG...is it Tucson already!!!
We are going to have a fantastic CREATE YOUR STYLE Ambassador showroom at the Tucson show this year, and I just know that is going to be so much fun. Anyone stopping by the show can come see us and busy kits and finished jewelery, watch our demos, and book the Ambassadors for classes in bead stores...whatever! It is just going to be a blast!
So...I need to get to work now filling the orders I took at the Pasadena show....I'll check back in later today to see how you all are doing too.....
