Happy Sparkling Mother's Day

There are many things in life that we appreciate even more as time goes by, one of those for me is being a mom.  I have more than appreciated being a mom since day one but the joy, love and experiences get better with each year. 

That being said, I have the wonderful privilege of being a mom to the two cutest little girls in the world who I call my little assistant's since they love helping out in the Beach Haus studio's.   Course sometimes the help is a bit more than I need at that moment but no matter they brighten my day with their smiles and abundance of questions especially about what am I making that particular day, for example: 

 -Mom, why are you making that? 

- Mom, can we help you? We need a new necklace today........

- Here, Mom is a stone that we think you should use! It's pink!  You know we love pink!

- Mom, did you know that you dropped the bead, here it is!

- Mom, why did you pick that color crystal? Why not the pink crystals, we love pink, don't you know that ?

The last question is one of my favorites because not only do they love crystals ( Rose AB is their favorite) but  they love to call the crystals diamonds since they sparkle so much and the bigger the crystal the better!!! Guess the apple doesn't fall that far from the tree after all since I love all things that sparkle and shine no wonder that Crystallized Swarovski Elements crystals are my favorites too!!!! LOL!

I have loved that my daughters have had a love for everything sparkling since they went to their first bead shows in Tucson  as babies where they were each captivated by all of the sparkling crystals and gemstones around ever corner. 

My wish for them is that I hope that their love for all things that sparkle and shine continues but that they find something in their lives that they are passionate and excited about what they choose to do in their lives regardless of their future career paths ( jewelry designer, teacher, businesswomen, scientist, etc)  as I am about what I do.  That would be one of the best gifts they could ever give me as a mom other than the cute glitter hand print wooden signs that they made me this year and couldn't wait for Mother's Day for me to open. Adorable! 

I hope that  everyone has a wonderful and sparkling Mother's Day! Let'sall  take time to enjoy all of the glitter hand prints and sparkles that our children give us each & everyday.
