thank you margot!
Greetings and Sparkly Salutations!
Hello! I have another blog that keeps me pretty busy, so do forgive me for not stopping by sooner. I just returned from the Craft and Hobby Association Show in Anahiem where I taught a crocheted wire and crystal necklace class for Beadalon featuring CRYSTALLIZED-Swarovski Elements. It was a very basic class intended for students who have no experience with crochet or jewelry making. Everyone left feeling accomplished with a finished piece of jewelry, which is exactly how I like a class to go. Let's face it, if you don't finish your piece during the class, chances are you're not going to finish it later. It just gets tossed into the box of forgotten projects.
I also had a book signing with my talented co-authors and fellow Beadalon Design Team Members and Ambassadors Katie Hacker and Fernando DaSilva for our book Bead and Wire Jewelry Exposed. It's been selling very well, which is great news. This book was co-sponsored by Create Your Style and Beadalon.
I hope to stop by now and again to share new projects and ideas. You can find my regular blog at: http://margotpottertheimpatientcrafter.blogspot.com/. I feature free projects, book reviews and lots of crafty inspiration there on a regular basis.
I've included a link to my YouTube channel and a video that shares my secret tip for properly opening and closing a jump ring with tension. You'll never lose another crystal dangle again!
I'm very much looking forward to getting to know all of you better.
Cheers,
Madge
