Finding Inspiration

Lately, I  have been struggling with inspiration... which is usually never a problem for me..like a designers BLOCK!

life in general, has been crazy and running the bead and wedding shop has been a challange... so no wonder my creativity has gone on vacation...( where I need to be) I am tired... and over tasked..

so  this past weekend, I reallized that the Create Your Style Tucson Event will be here sooner than later and I need something outstanding to wear. at that moment, the wheels began to turn in my mind and I realized that I love a project, a challange to  bring out the creativity in me..

I went to the bookstore, grabbed every bead & fashion magazine on the shelf sat on the floor with my piles of magazines( luckily, it was not too busy but I did get some strange looks)  I was engaged as I  looked at everything from colors, texures, combinations, & ideas. I purchased a couple of them and I then wondered thru the boutiques and department stores touching  fabrics and jewelry looking at handbags and shoes. just getting a feel for fashion that my mind needed.

finally.... I have reached some tentative thoughts of color and designs and we will see what I come up with and post it when i am finished.. wish me luck!
