The design tool only uses CSE (crystallized Swarovski Elements) so the answer to your seed bead (or any other material) question is no.
You can only open a design you've created ON the design tool, you won't be able to use any other computer application to open it. You can print the design from the tool as well.
To open your design go to the Design Tool and click File > Load > find the design name and click load again.
This will bring up any designs you have created. Hope this helps let me know if you're still having trouble.

Design Tool - Saving Problems
Hi,
Loving the site and the design tool... but I have a question (well, two questions really!)...
Where does the design get saved? There's no options to create folders or even change where it is saved, and I can't find the saved design anywhere in my files.
Also, I would be interested to find out if there are any plans to add more crystal types to the design tool or to allow other elements such as seed beads to be incorporated into the tool?
