CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements Innovations Launch Spring/Summer 2010 – Be Inspired!

These new CRYSTALLIZEDTM - Swarovski Elements are more than just innovations! Have you seen them yet? They are incredible and, yes, inspiring! The minute I saw them, I had so many ideas of how to use them for making new pieces of jewelry. You will, too.

I'll start with the colors, my favorite beginning point to spark my imagination of any new creation: The new Air Blue Opal (285) is a lovely color for all your spring/summer creations - a shade as opaque and dreamy as a summer sky. The Crystal Red Magma (001 REDM) is as powerful and strong a color as the Air Blue Opal is soft. Both offer many possibilities for combining with all the other colors, but especially with the Crystal Platinum Pearl (001 459), a fantastic, ethereal neutral shade that fits in with any color way.

Then there are the new bead, sew-on, and pendant shapes that are completely intriguing: My favorites are the CRYSTALLIZEDTM Chessboard Sew-on Stone (3293), the Helix Bead (5020), the Lily Pendant (6904) and the Graphic Cube Bead (5603) - the facets on each of these throw off flashes of light for delightful sparkle and interest, while at the same time drawing the viewer into the element. The new CRYSTALLIZEDTM Ring Bead (5139) is also facetted and drilled through the center, which makes one immediately start to imagine stringing up a quick bracelet to go with your evening's outfit, using it in combination with a Crystal Pearl or Round Bead between and within each ring - what color would you choose?

For a really last minute addition of sparkle to any outfit, choose one of the new CRYSTALLIZEDTM Pendants: the Cosmic Oval Fancy Stone (4157), the Lily (6904), the Dragonfly (6905) or the Orchid (6906). Simply put one on a silver chain or on a silk cord and you are embellished with the style and flash that only CRYSTALLIZEDTM - Swarovski Elements can offer.

Charles Lewis Tiffany is a master with diamonds! He was even called the King

1837. The store was originally called Tiffany & Young, but later changed
the

name to Tiffany & co when Charles Tiffany brought his partner out.

The basis for this design

The basis for this design can be found in
Laura McCabes book Crystal Jewellery with Swarovski (an excellent read).
However, to get you started, you string on 30 delicas, do a round of
peyote, then two rounds of peyote in size 15s on each side.

Just about every niche in

Just about every niche in the craft industry has a local club, society,
or guild. Annual dues are usually under $50 and for most groups,Starter  the
monthly meetings are just plain fun. It’s here that you’ll not only get
your face out among other people who are interested in the same things
you, but you’ll gain loads of new contacts that will widen your network
within your community.
