Beads can be so distracting

Well beadwork can be very distracting sometimes. You forget the pasta on the oven or the pizza inside. To avoid larger damages in my kitchen I started putting an alarmclock on my desk! That helps a little.

2011 there will be the first german Beadshow in Hamburg, and I am one of the teachers. So I had to develop projects for two classes, one is a beautiful bracelet, the other a pendant based on 18 mm Rivolis (1122). These Rivolis, especially in different colors, are hard to find, but last friday a delivery from a wholesaler arrived!

Crystal Volcano, Heliotrope, Emerald, Amethyst, light Vitrail, Rose, Golden Shadow...... I was in heaven!

First I made all these pendants, as planned, one more colorful than the other and then the "disaster" started!

Instead of doing what I was supposed to, writing instructions for another project, I started bezeling the Rivolis in different ways. Made a bracelet first "The Twinkelizer"

which is a combination of 18 mm Crystal Volcano Rivolis and 8mm Crystal Copper Rivolis. 

But this was not enough..... I had to go on building a sphere from 12 Rivolis (14 mm) in Heliotrope, "Ballicious":

And now? Now I am sitting here, glad that I still have 3 days of vacation, which will give me the opportunity to finish the instructions.... the only problem..... there are still some Rivolis left ;-)
