Glad to know that you have been busy particularly with the crystals!!!! We all seem busy these days (too many distractions). I have been busy with the crystals in between times with "other" matters. Nearly finished a project for CYS Australasia for this year and gathering up the requirements for another couple if they work out!!!! I hope that I do not have as much problem getting "Splash" home again. Sorry about your dear cat being unwell. I know how you feel when my Klink got to the end of his life. Broke our hearts after 17 years. He was a cream Burmese and the most loving cat I have ever known.
Cheers and thoughts from down under. Noel

ADD & OCD...Distractions!
Hi all....
Well, I wish I could tell you that I have been absent from our Sparkling Community because of some fantastic new project I'm working on...but alas, that is not so. What has happened is that my ADD and OCD has taken control of my life....I keep trying to pay attention to my "To Do" list (one of the items is always to check in here and write something new) but then I get distracted (ADD) and OCD (obsessive crystal disease) kicks in and I'm off working on something that sparkles...
I've been all over the place lately, a lot of new ideas, but nothing completed. I do have some interesting things in the works, but nothing I can share right now. A big distraction was watching the Olympics....double distraction because of the sports, but also the sparkling costumes....I was freezing the action on the screen to try to see the crystals better and determine which articles were used. I've also received some of the new colors, so, of course, I've been playing with those.
I'm thrilled to see Val back on the Forum....I know you are just about the busiest person in our group, and any thing you write is greatly, greatly appreciated. Mel, you too....I cannot imagine how you get everything done that you are tasked with in one day with those two energic, creative boys around...talk about distractions!
Wendy...you are an expert juggler with school and social life...but you are young and full of energy, please remember to take care of yourself! And Noel....chasing down "Splash" in it's adventures with French customs has been a big job for you. Sorry to hear that it didn't win one of the prizes. I did check out the winners and agree, they are all amazing designs. I love how a contest really gets us all to stretch our creative muscles!
Oh...I have one really fun thing to share. I have a class scheduled for the Bead Society of San Diego County that has had such a great response that we have added 5 more spaces to it! Wow...I'm really excited to be teaching for the Bead Society, but also more nervous than ever, these are my home town people...and it is a Swarovski sponsored workshop....so I want everything to be just perfect!
So...I've already spent too much time on the computer today....I have many things on To-Do list....Spring cleaning always seems to overload me, I usually try to get started earlier in the year...but this year I'm about a month behind on Everything!!! Lots of bead organizing, because I've gotten to the point of having everything scattered all around again. Oh, and I need to take a picture of the cat for you guys....I finally made her a new Crystallized collar...OMG, I love it, she is the sparkliest cat in town! Unfortunately, she has also been quite sick over the past few weeks and DH and I are very concerned about how much longer she will be with us.
So...promise I'll keep up....I WILL finish my Tucson blogs...and I'll get back on track with everything soon!
In the meantime, Sparkles and Smiles to everyone.
Diane
