Aaahhh! It's September again. There's a slight chill in the air at night. Parents everywhere are excited that their children are headed back to school - me included. But there is something else that has me giddy with excitement and anticipation.   THE RELEASE OF THE NEW INNOVATIONS FROM SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS!   I have absolutely no idea what the new release will be, but am excited to see it.   What's your best guess?   Obviously, there will be a new colour or two and some new shapes.

This was my first trip to Tucson. Nothing is better for the soul than being surrounded by friends and family who share the passion for Swarovski Elements. Here are some tips and vignettes of my trip.   1. Take classes! I had the pleasure of taking classes held by my sister Ambassadors, Debra Saucier and Anna Elizabeth Draeger. They are phenomenal woman who have such an eye for colour and design. It doesn't matter how old you are, how long you've been beading or your level of expertise - you will always learn something new taking classes.

Physically, my body is in Toronto.   Mentally, I'm still in Rhode Island at Swarovski North America Headquarters.   I'm in crystal sensory overload!   The CREATE YOUR STYLE with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Ambassador training was fantastic! It was a wonderful opportunity to finally meet in real life, some of the Ambassadors that I am friends with on here and on Facebook. Val Hirata flew all the way in from Hawaii!!! (I say next time we go to her place for training!)

On Saturday, I handed in samples of the class I'll be teaching at The Toronto Bead Society Fall Fair. Learn the basics of wire crystal crochet with CREATE YOUR STYLE with Swarovski Elements Ambassador, Stephanie Dixon. You will create two pairs of earrings using 26 gauge non tarnish silver wire and silver ear wires.
