  A few years ago, a super hot trend was born in Japan called Deco-Den short for decorated denwa (telephone). It started out with a cell phone: crystals and pearls glued onto a phone case and now to the extreme of dimensional plastic pieces mixed with crystals, flowers, teddy bears, ribbons and crystal pendant pieces adding up to a pound or two of weight.

A Week or so after I arrived home from teaching in Tucson at the Create Your Style  with Crystallized-Swarovski Elements, I recieved an email from a student who needed a few extra parts because her necklace had gotten somewhat smashed or broken in her luggage as she traveled home.  Now, I have to admit, that there was a time that I would just toss a bunch of necklaces and bracelets in a little box or bag and thow it in my carry on and then in a drawer in my hotel room  because the chains and bracelets would tangle up a bit and I would have to spend time untangling and swearing to mys

Lately, I  have been struggling with inspiration... which is usually never a problem for me..like a designers BLOCK! life in general, has been crazy and running the bead and wedding shop has been a challange... so no wonder my creativity has gone on vacation...( where I need to be) I am tired... and over tasked..
